    Description

    1950's (possibly 1940's) era original motorcycle racing poster from the Birmingham, Alabama area.  Measure 14" X 22."  Printed on heavy stock poster board.  They called the races Grand Prix Scrambles.  Held at Shades Valley Speedway-same location as Shades Valley Stables.  This would have been in the Hwy 150/Shannon Road area.  Lower right hand corner has been bent.  The 2nd photo shows a slight crease across the back near the top.  This crease shows up as more of a curl looking from the front.  Poster has darkened with age.  Slight mildew smell.  The poster will be shipped flat-too thick to roll!
